LASLO BALINT PLANNING LARGE SCALE CHARITY EFFORT
By Everett F. Stevens

Thursday, October 16, 2008 — In a press conference held today, it was announced that Laslo Balint is beginning a large scale cause related undertaking.
A recent inheritance from a great uncle has allowed Laslo to put forward a sizeable contribution to the effort.
"It was recently discovered that my great uncle, Dexter Balint, had left the majority of his Ravenwood estate to me," commented Balint.
"At first, I wasn't quite sure what to do with this inheritance, but then the wheels started turning."
"The plans and details are still being hashed out, but when the project is finished, I hope to leave a forum for everyone to come together in Millsberry for the greater good of those here and abroad."
Laslo Balint is hoping to inspire others to take up similar projects. He believes that anyone determined enough can make a difference.
"Change always starts with one person. With the right attitude and perseverance, anyone can accomplish anything."
To help everyone else get in the spirit, Laslo has provided special commemorative bricks that will be sold to help raise additional funds for the upcoming cause related effort.
Along with this is the Ground Breaking Shovel, the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Kit, and a Grand Opening Kit.
It's everything you'll need to take on your own cause related efforts.
"I'm hoping to create a new mobile center to house future cause related efforts in Millsberry. We're not quite sure what or where this center will be yet."
"The plans are still being drawn up, but rest assured, it's going to be an exciting unveiling."
"It's always great to see your plans and dreams come together and actually be realized, so I can't tell you how happy I am about this upcoming charitable event."
"Stay tuned. I hope that many of you will be involved."
Now that Laslo has us all on the edge of our seats, we're all waiting eagerly to see what he has in store.
MEET THE CANDIDATES
Thursday, October 16, 2008 — The candidates for the upcoming Mayoral Election were announced yesterday. In the running are Hunter Lopez, Douglas Wright, and Allison McCarthy. Each candidate gave a speech in front of an excited Millsberry audience. Lopez has been a Millsberry citizen for 11 years now and has been involved in many civic efforts, most notably last spring's Feed Children of Malawi. He plans to focus Millsberry more on cause related efforts both in the city and abroad. Douglas Wright has been a citizen for 8 years, and is planning a campaign centered on city-wide improvements. Allison McCarthy is planning to run a campaign focused primarily on environmentally friendly living.
