Lake View
On the shores of the Lake, the citizens of Lakeview enjoy cool winds blowing off the waters. They go fishing and water skiing in the summer, and when winter rolls around, they skate and play hockey on the frozen lake. Because most of Millsberry's trade comes from the lake (feeding out to larger water sources), many of the families in Lakeview are sailor families. The houses are tall—just in case of rising water—and very old. In fact, Lakeview is the second oldest neighborhood in the City. Many of the houses have belonged to the same families for generations, the descendants of the same families who bring fresh fish to the markets every morning. Because many of the houses are built on the foothills, they seem to lean just slightly, making visitors feel a little dizzy. To get around Lakeview, you have to be willing to walk up and down a slope or two.
